“I know nothing about yoga.”
Don’t worry! We’ll break down the poses (“asanas”) step-by-step, focus on learning how to create balance in the body, mind, and spirit, through strength, core awareness, and flexibility. Basic yoga terminology will be defined and broken down. Yoga breathing techniques for relaxation will be woven into every class that can be used in your every day busy life.
Begins October 18th, 2017
In this training, you will practice and learn Vinyasa Flow Yoga style along with
an exploration of meditation and pranayama. Learn and grow your yoga
guide tools, experience hands-on techniques, and gain the knowledge to
teach a dynamic, passionate, and creative Vinyasa Yoga Class. We encourage
an open-mind during training, not only to foster acceptance of all included,
but to aid in character development and self-study.
I started practicing yoga in 2002 and fell in love right away. After working 10 years as a radio host and getting my Masters in Education, I turned to yoga looking for an answer and a purpose. Yoga helped me lose 60lbs and lowered my cholesterol/blood pressure from life-threatening numbers, to optimal health. As my yoga practice grew, my friend encouraged me to do Yoga Teacher Training. The decision to do the training changed my life forever.
